Teaching

The Department of Marketing and Trade teaches courses in bachelor, master and doctoral study programmes of the Faculty of Economics as well as at other faculties of the Technical University of Liberec. The department also offers courses for students of the Neisse University and students of Erasmus Plus Programme studying in English.

Department of Marketing and Trade offers and guarantees the teaching of courses for:

  • Study programme Economics and Management of International trade for the bachelor degree
  • Specialisation Tourism of the study programme Economics and Management of services for the bachelor degree
  • Specialisation Business Marketing of the study programme Business Administration of the subsequent master degree
  • Specialisation Enterprise in the international environment of the study programme Business Administration in the subsequent master degree.

In the study programmes mentioned above, the department provides supervision of theses focused on the  application of a chosen problem in practice and mediates the students' internships. In this field, the department cooperates with various companies and organisations and regularly organises lectures of experts from practice.

In doctoral study programmes, the Department of Marketing and Trade provides teaching of the following courses:

  • Selected Readings in Marketing
  • Marketing a Customer Relationship Management
  • Internacional Theories of Trade Strategies and Processes

The department aims to approximate the issues of marketing and international trade from the practical point of view. It brings in students on research activities of the department and motivates them to participate and represent the Faculty of Economics in various national competitions.
