Home #Aktuality Summer School: Look Back

During the holidays, when students have time off, in the very first month, i.e. in July, FE TUL organised a Summer School with our partner Cairo University (CU, Egypt). This activity was created with the support of the credit mobility project (project KA171). It was organised by the project ambassador Bc. Ing. Karina Tatek Benetti, Ph.D. from the Department of Economic Statistics FE TUL. The Summer School was aimed especially at our students of the Business Economics program, specialising in Service Management, as it was on a very special topic: "Selected Topics from Insurance Markets". Of course, participation was offered to all EF TUL students. In the end, students of the already mentioned specialisation took advantage of this great opportunity to expand their knowledge in this very specific field of services.

The Summer School took place in the meeting room of the EF TUL, was ceremonially opened on July 18 and lasted until July 28, 2023. For more than a week, 21 blocks were held on current, interesting topics from the field of insurance and management touching on these very areas. The topics of Sustainability in the Insurance Industry and the Comparison of Mortality Tables in Selected Countries had the greatest response.

It was organized by the project ambassador and our colleague from the Department of Economic Statistics Karina T. Benetti. The activity was supported by the Credit Mobility Project (project KA171).
