Conditions for Continuing Studies at the Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Liberec

1. Each student enrolled in the first year of a Bachelor’s study program shall obtain at least 15 credits for the first semester of the first year within the course, which is specified in the Course Schedule for the given academic year as stipulated by the Technical University Study and Examination Regulations, Article 10 § 1.


2. In case of non-compliance with the study conditions, the study would be terminated on the last day of February.


3. Points 1 and 2 do not apply to students enrolled in a Bachelor's study program within NEISSE University.


4. For the first year of a Bachelor’s and Follow-up Master’s study programs, the student shall acquire at least 40 credits for subjects enrolled in the respective academic year (see the TUL Study and Examination Regulations, Article 7, § 3a) within the time limit stipulated in the Course Schedule for the given academic year.


5. In subsequent academic years of study, the student shall obtain at least 30 credits for subjects enrolled in the respective academic year (see the TUL Study and Examination Regulations, Article 7, § 3b) within the time limit stipulated in the Course Schedule for the given academic year.


6. In case of non-compliance with the study conditions, the study would be terminated on the last day of September.


7. Credits for subjects recognized in previous study or study at another faculty or college shall not be included in the credits obtained. Providing the student acquires recognized credits from previous study, he or she may enrol in courses for the following year so that he or she has the possibility to obtain at least 15 credits in winter semester of the bachelor’s study for subjects entered in his or her study plan, in fact, at least 40 credits for the first year of the Bachelor’s study, and at least 30 credits for the following years.


8. The Dean’s Directive No. 1/2017 on Prerequisitive Subjects in the First Year of Bachelor’s Study Program is hereby revoked.
